Take the trail from Konnos Beach and you can start your journey that will take you 4.8km reaching altitudes of 28m. It’s an easy trail so the whole family should be able to manage it with ease. This is a circular trail, so you don’t have to worry about getting back to your car or public transport when you’ve finished your journey.

A close encounter with wildlife

Catching a glimpse of foxes, hares, lizards and hedgehogs is common along the trail. There are also many species of beautiful butterflies making their home in Cape Greco. For those with an interest in birdlife, you’ll be impressed to hear that there are more than 80 bird species present in the National Forest Park with many migratory species using this as a resting point on their long journey.

A local legend comes to life

On your trail you’ll see the Agioi Anargyroi Church, this is built above a sea cave where it is believed Saint Anargyroi lived as a hermit. Read about these legends before you visit the trail and it’ll be all the more interesting.
